Australian compliance audit firm AssuranceLab reaches 1000 client milestone

Australian compliance audit firm AssuranceLab has reached 1000 clients across more than 30 countries.

Spanning from 1-person startups to 10,000+ headcount multinational organisations, AssuranceLab has a truly impressive client base.

Co-Founder & Co-CEO at Assurancelab, Paul Wenham, shared his thoughts on reaching 1000 clients and reflected on how far Assurancelab has come since being founded in 2017.

“When I started what’s now AssuranceLab, I told friends and family I was hoping to find five clients and that I’d cap it at ten. I wasn’t trying to build a CPA firm or scale a company with employees. I just wanted to help a few cool startups with a tricky area.”

“So to be here now, with a thousand clients around the world, feels pretty surreal. Over the past four years, it’s been incredible to see so many people join in and shape what we’re building, especially with Nick Lew Ton coming on as co-founder and co-CEO to lead our growth,” said Wenham.

AssuranceLab’s client base extends more than just the numbers, with Michael Precious, Manager at AssuranceLab, sharing his thoughts on working with such high-calibre global clients.

“My very first client call at AssuranceLab featured someone in Australia, Scotland, the United States, and New Zealand – if that didn’t give me a clear insight into what my future held, I’m not sure what would,” said Precious.

“The diversity of the clients I’ve worked with goes well beyond that of geography. From 2-person startups to tech unicorns, the agricultural industry, the education sector, banking, lending, gaming, to individuals who have come to us from multiple companies in their journey.”

“The best part of the job is the clients and people we’ve met along the way, and it’s what brings us back to the laptop every day!” said Precious.

A milestone like this doesn’t happen overnight. It’s many years of hard work from many people. From clients, to partners and the team. None of it would have been possible without them all.

“I’m proud of what AssuranceLab has become and mostly just really grateful to our clients, team, and partners who’ve trusted us and made this possible,” said Wenham.
