{"id":158586,"date":"2022-04-05T08:04:18","date_gmt":"2022-04-04T22:04:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/internationalfintech.com\/?p=158586"},"modified":"2022-04-05T08:04:18","modified_gmt":"2022-04-04T22:04:18","slug":"revolut-appoints-charles-debonneuil-as-apac-general-manager-to-growth-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/internationalfintech.com\/revolut-appoints-charles-debonneuil-as-apac-general-manager-to-growth-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Revolut appoints Charles Debonneuil as APAC General Manager to Growth team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.revolut.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Revolut<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, the global financial superapp with over 18 million customers, has appointed Charles Debonneuil (pictured) as APAC General Manager as it continues to focus on growth in the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n<p>Debonneuil will focus on building out Revolut\u2019s local Growth teams and developing the business\u2019 growth strategy, driving rapid new user acquisition in the APAC region.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Revolut\u2019s APAC team, Debonneuil was the President of Intrepid Group, a leading ecommerce solutions company for global brands, overseeing the growth of the company to over 300 employees across Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Debonneuil is also a co-founder and former Chief Marketing Officer of Lazada, a leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia which was acquired by Alibaba in 2016. He oversaw the growth of the business which today boasts approximately 160 million Monthly Active Users across 6 countries.<\/p>\n<p>On the appointment, <a href=\"https:\/\/internationalfintech.com\/company\/revolut\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Revolut<\/strong><\/span><\/a> Global General Manager and Head of Marketing, Ankit Khemka, said, \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to welcome Charles to Revolut as we double down on our commitment in the APAC region.
